La Marina Village
La Marina village is very Spanish.
This charming village has all facilities including a tourist information office, post office, shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, pharmacy etc to cater for all your holiday needs.
Alicante
Curving round a bay and dominated by the ruins of its ancient castle, the city of Alicante, despite its many tourists, remains truly Spanish. It has everything you would expect of a Mediterranean city: historic buildings, palm-lined avenues and superb shopping and restaurant facilities.
Santa Pola
Santa Pola is a small fishing village on the coast of the Costa Blanca. South of the town there are miles of smooth sandy beaches backed by pines and eucalyptus trees. The area is also famous for its salt flats which are designated as a natural parks, where you can spot pink flamingos and a wide variety of natural inhabitants.
Guardamar
The town of Guardamar has historically played the role of guardian of the river Segura. The area boasts a beautiful wide sandy beach with plenty of restaurants along its promenade. There have also been thousands of pines, palms and eucalyptus trees planted to control the shifting sand dunes.
This typical Spanish town is also large enough to have all the amenities and facilities for every day living.
Torrevieja
Torrevieja is situated on the coast and it is surrounded by two large and beautiful natural salt lakes which form the renowned “Salinas de Torrevieja“.
The salt flats are Europe’s oldest and largest, sparkling flat expanses where salt water evaporates to produce pure sea salt. Torrevieja produces about a million tons of salt, mostly exported, making it Europe’s prime salt producer.
The salt flats at Torrevieja and La Mata are now also designated natural parks and have more than 250 recorded species of birds feeding on them.
Golf Courses
La Marquesa at Quesada is a 15 minute drive away and Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Rambles are a 30 minute drive away.
Every day of the week there are markets somewhere in the area - La Marina, Rojales, Santa Pola, Guardamar, San Miguel, La Mata, Torrevieja etc.
