The apartment is centrally located in La Mata and is a short walk to where you will find a variety of restaurants, bars & shops. There is a view of the natural park & salt lake from the balcony at the front of the apartment watch the sun set over the lake it is never the same two nights. The apartment is fully equiped we supply towels but ask that you bring your own beach towels.The apartment is cleaned before you arrive and when you depart this is included in the price. There is a communal pool with childrens section a communal garden area & gated parking. Torrevieja is a short bus ride away and you could spend the day there are many things to see & do, there is a submarine in the harbour which is free to visit also a fun fair and a street market. The main market is held on Friday morning & is said to be the largest on the Costa Blanca, La Mata market is held on Wednesday morning if you like markets you will find one to visit every day in different towns. Alicante & Murcia airports are 45 minutes away.

La Mata is a popular area as it is so convenient for many activities. The apartment is overlooking the La Mata natural park and the salt lake, you can take a walk through the park to a picnic area near the lake or hire a cycle and ride on the cycle path around the lake. there are viewing points around the lake to watch the many birds including flamingos.
There are supermarkets close by and a variety of restaurants & bars within walking distance.
There is a very good bus service into Torrevieja town centre where you can spend the day.
You can of course just relax on the long sandy beach in La Mata whice has been awarded a blue flag.
